Australian 4x4 Driver Training | | We
believe in delivering what you
have paid for - affordable and quality 4wd
driver training on real, and often
rough, bush tracks
and there's good reason why trainees finish our courses with a smile from ear to ear
(see below)
Australian 4x4 Driver Training
courses are recognised Australia wide - National Provider
Number 91518 | | There are several reasons why trainees finish our
courses with a smile
from ear to ear
but the main one is really quite simple - most of you would
never
have attempted most of the tracks we use for the training
before
you came on
the course - and yet by the end of the course our training methods will
have taught you how to master them all with
confidence and safety.
Whilst
we conduct regular training courses for members of the public our
corporate clients include The
Australian Defence Force, Federal Police, Federal, State and Local Government
Departments, electricity, remote communication,
infrastructure, construction and maintenance contractors, mining,
geological,
ecological, exploration, structural and civil engineering,
communication, transport, consultant, motor industry, insurance driver
rehabilitation and many other
types of businesses including TV and film productions. As seen on the Rok Adventure | |

We run three different 4wd driver
training courses, one of which will suit your requirements
and will show what
you and your 4wd are capable of in a
real life, natural setting near Lithgow, west of Sydney.
There is a one day course covering all of the basics of 4wd driving and
is perfect for those new to 4wd's.
This
course will qualify you for a nationally recognised
certificate and it is run on day one of the
two day courses which are also nationally recognised. The only
difference between the one and two day course is that on day 2 we do a
lot more practice and driving over the different terrain types.
There
is another 2 day course which is an
advanced drivers course and also covers advnced vehicle recoveries.

The type of tracks that you will experience during your training are
typically of those that you will find
when
you go out driving on your own and will include steep, washed out and
rutted, rocky, muddy, water crossings, sand and so on.
If you
are thinking you are going to be taken out of your comfort zone you are
spot on but then we wouldn't be doing our job properley if we didn't.
The bush can be a tough place and you must learn how to treat it
properly.
Take
advantage of our experience - over 40
years of
4wd driving both in Australia and overseas and over 25 years
of delivering training courses.
You
will also
learn how to plan your trip, know what
to look for during a pre-departure vehicle check, and how
to use available recovery equipment.
Learn how to recover your vehicle safely with minimal damage to the
environment and to your vehicle as getting stuck at some time is as
sure as night following day.
Find out what type of tracks you
are going to be trained on before you book your course, make sure that
they are over typical off road terrain. All of our courses
are run on natural bush tracks in various states or repair, or
disrepair, the kind you will find when you go out there on your own.
By
limiting the number of participants on our 4wd driver training course
we are able to give you more actual driving time - this gives you more
valuable practical experience and gives you better value for
your
money.
Priced from $245.00 for the one day Level 1 Quick Start Recreational
4wd Training Course or the full weekend, two day, courses are
$375.00 which include the Level 2 - Drive & Recover a
4wd
Vehicle and
Level 3 - Advanced Drive & Recover a 4wd Vehicle
You
are welcome to bring a non-participating passenger with you at no extra
cost as well as your children by prior arrangement.
We
are fully insured for 4wd driver training and have the required permits
to operate in the areas where the training takes place.
Booking
is easy. Click here to go to our booking page Book early as
we restrict the numbers of participants on training days
The
one day course is held on the Saturday for those not
